France is one of the largest countries in Europe, and while most tourism tends to concentrate in Paris and the French Riviera, breathtaking destinations like Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy offer a unique experience. Located near the border with Brittany, it sits several hundred kilometers from Paris, yet visiting it in a single day is possible thanks to the excellent transport network of trains and highways.
